EMINENCE CAPITAL LTD Asia Pacific Green Bond Fund subscription is hot , institutional demand exceeds expectations by two times
The first green bond fund under EMINENCE CAPITAL LTD focusing on the Asia-Pacific region was enthusiastically sought after by the market during the fundraising period, and the final subscription amount reached 200% of the initial target size, setting a record for ESG-themed bond fund subscriptions in the Asia-Pacific region. This phenomenal performance highlights the high recognition of institutional investors for the “Green Alpha” investment framework developed by Henri Lucas’ team.
The fund adopts an innovative “triple green certification” mechanism: the project must not only comply with the standards of the International Capital Market Association (ICMA), but also pass the “carbon footprint tracking system” independently developed by EMINENCE and meet the “ecological restoration additional clauses” unique to the Asia-Pacific region. The fund announcement shows that the first phase of the asset portfolio includes special products such as China Carbon Neutral Bonds and Singapore Blue Bonds, and the expected annualized rate of return is 1.5-2 percentage points higher than traditional bond funds.
“This oversubscription reflects the market’s desire for high-quality green assets,” Lucas analyzed in a letter to investors, “Our original ‘green premium pricing model’ can accurately identify undervalued environmentally friendly bonds, which is the key to attracting institutional investors.” It is reported that the fund adopts a dynamic duration management strategy and adjusts interest rate risk exposure in real time through artificial intelligence, successfully avoiding two major market fluctuations during the trial operation.
Asian Investor magazine pointed out that EMINENCE’s success will change the landscape of the Asia-Pacific green bond market – proving that responsible investment and financial returns can be perfectly combined. With the participation of long-term capital such as Japanese pension funds, the fund is expected to become a key force in promoting the development of regional green finance and provide a stable financing channel for climate-friendly projects.
